Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring ACLS and a minimum of three years of specialty experience.
Details
- Medical ICU unit within a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM-07:00 PM
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice required
- BLS and ACLS certification from an approved vendor required (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum of three years of recent ICU experience required, with experience within the last three months in the specialty
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to maintain a safe and healing environment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Position is represented by ONA
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
