Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience in screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography procedures.

Details

• Breast center setting at a cancer institute
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule, typically 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM depending on departmental needs
• No call or weekend requirements
• Potential to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography required
• BLS and ARRT(M) certification required
• Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography procedures required
• Hologic 3D equipment experience preferred
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammography procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Returning staff must have been separated from a perm staff or per diem role for at least 3 months prior to starting
• Local candidates accepted for radiology positions; a 100-mile radius restriction applies to other positions
• RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days during the assignment
