Description
American Traveler is hiring a RN - Telemetry/Stepdown nurse for a 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit requiring 1+ years of progressive care experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Manages drips and more acute progressive/intermediate care patients
- Night shift, 1900-0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
- May be required to float to other departments based on business need
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN License - Single State, Compact, or CO license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS (AHA) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Certifications must not expire prior to start date
Additional Information
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and monitors therapy/treatment plans
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
