Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center setting, requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 1-2 years of MRI experience.

Details

• Work in the MRI Neuro unit of an academic medical center
• Perform Neuro MRI, Abdominal MRI, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI procedures
• Day shift options of 6:30 AM-3 PM or 8:30 AM-5 PM, and evening shift of 2 PM-10:30 PM
• No rotation required between day and evening shifts
• Monday-Friday schedule with 8 hour shifts
• No call, no overnights, and no holidays required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a staff tech required, 2 years preferred
• Rochester MN facility requires 2 years of experience and/or 3 total travel assignments
• Competence in a variety of MRI equipment and technology
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a high acuity academic medical center environment

• Facility may call off or cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date before requiring a break
• On-site work required with patient access
