Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active ND or compact RN license and NRP certification.

Details

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Any shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
30-minute meal break included in shift
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
All certifications must be obtained prior to start date

Additional Information

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond appropriately, including emergency interventions
Begin discharge planning early and provide patient/family education
Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice as appropriate
Document observations and complete incident reports as needed
