Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level IV NICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring active CA RN license and prior NICU travel experience.

Details

• Level IV NICU setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (1900-0700)
• Required to float to all areas of the pediatric hospital, including PICU and acute care Pediatrics, for patients under one year of age
• Every other weekend required (or 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule), with night shift weekends falling on Friday/Saturday
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required
• At least one previous travel assignment required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates should aim to keep RTO under 7 days per assignment if possible
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former UC contractors, travelers, or permanent employees must be cleared by Talent Management before consideration, with RNs requiring a 12-month separation
• Candidates currently active with any University of California entity, as a career employee or contractor, are not eligible for consideration
• Non-billable orientation modules (up to 4 hours, averaging 1-2) are completed prior to start and vary by specialty
