Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least three years of critical care experience.

Details

• Conglomerate ICU unit treating medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients
• Cares for patients with TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic events, respiratory failure, CHF, and pneumonia
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and Step Down

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum of three years of ICU experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification may be required depending on unit group

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population with complex cardiovascular, respiratory, and medical conditions
• Must reside within the facility's designated radius to qualify for full travel rate, as local candidates are offered a reduced rate
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Only one submission allowed per candidate system-wide within Ascension
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
