Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of recent acute care experience and the ability to adapt quickly across multiple units.

Details

• Float pool role covering 5 different Med/Surg/Tele units
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7:30p, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Meditech for IV management and EPIC for charting
• Must independently read telemetry strips

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Telemetry and Meditech IV experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass on-site telemetry exam with 84% or better on Day 1 (up to 2 attempts)
• 3-5 years of previous float pool experience preferred

Additional Information

• Float pool nurse adaptable to working across multiple Med/Surg/Tele units
• No extended RTO allowed, and most Fridays will be required
• No specific schedule requests accommodated
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
