Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a free-standing Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and TNCC certification.
Details
- Free-standing ER setting with 12 beds
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Treats both pediatric and adult patients
- Uses Hamilton Ventilator, EKG, and bedside monitors
- Documentation via Meditech
- Performs pelvic exams, suture setup, and orthopedic splinting on unit
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Scheduled for 36 hours per week with rotating weekends
- Floating to other free-standing EDs if staffing allows or 36-hour requirement is unmet
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- CPI certification preferred if available
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
- Skilled in drip titrations and breathing treatment administration
- Experience providing care to both pediatric and adult patients
Additional Information
- Deliver quality patient care with strong communication to providers and peers
- Join a tenured ED staff team serving the community for over 13 years
- A new 68-bed hospital is planned for construction on the property to expand local services
- Blue or black scrubs preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
