Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of interventional cardiology experience for an acute care cardiac cath lab.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab department specializing in interventional cardiology
• 90-bed facility with adult patient population
• Cath lab staff also covers cath procedures, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table studies
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements of more than 12 days
• Occasional float to IR

Requirements

• RN, RRT, or RCIS required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care preferred
• Common diagnosis treated includes CAD
• Strong team player personality fit
• AHA certifications required

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Work alongside a collaborative, team-oriented staff
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Local candidates may be considered at a different pay rate; candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
