Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an AL or compact RN license and 2+ years of med-surg experience.

Details

• Work on a 3400 Med-Surg unit with 18 beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends with every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Float requirements apply
• Uses Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

Additional Information

• Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the position
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Weekly Monday orientations scheduled
