Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit position
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other area facilities, potentially including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of submission (License required if applicable)
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required, active and in hand at time of submission
• Two professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from assignments worked in the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually

• Smoke-free facility requiring candidates to be nicotine-free with no exceptions
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility; license-related issues are not accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Candidates may extend assignments for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
