Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience for a cardiac catheterization lab role.

Details

• 110-bed hospital setting
• Cath Lab department with preference for Vascular IR experience
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 0700-1730
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Travelers are first to float
• Epic charting experience required

Requirements

• ARRT registration required
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Vascular IR Tech experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology required
• Must be competent assisting an Interventional Cardiologist in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating roles
• Knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary/peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique required

Additional Information

• Assist Interventional Cardiologist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during procedures
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
• Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• More than one call-off may result in termination, and a no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the metro area to qualify for travel rate, with local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior facility employment before accepting a travel assignment
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
