Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU/Med Surg RN for a rotating shift position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and a MN RN license.

Details

• Rotating 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) with a 36-hour guarantee
• Every weekend work required
• No call requirements
• Regular floating to Med Surg required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Adult patient population

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Compact license not accepted
• 2+ years of Critical Care and ICU experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Med Surg and Telemetry trained
• Able to insert IVs
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to specialty required
• 2 supervisory references with dates employed required
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for patient-facing positions

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care according to hospital policies and professional nursing standards
• Define, implement, and improve practice standards and environment of care
• Work within a hospital recognized for top Women and Children's Care with a Level III NICU
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Candidates with prior work history at North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC must list this on their resume
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application as late requests may not be honored
• Strict compliance deadline of 4pm the Wednesday before start date with no exceptions
