Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least one year of RN experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7p-7a)
• No on-call requirements, weekend shifts required
• Floating required if needed, per facility policy
• Uses Paragon charting system

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of active RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required, PALS preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Experience managing dysrhythmias
• Skilled in IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Experience with central line care and management
• Experience administering IV vasopressors and medications
• Respiratory care experience including BiPAP/CPAP management
• Experience caring for ventilated patients
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
• Triage experience required
• US citizenship required for consideration

• Provide emergency nursing care including triage and management of acute and critical patients
• Any solid color scrubs permitted
