Description

American Traveler is hiring a WI RN for a Long Term Care position requiring weekend day/PM shifts and an active WI RN license.

Details

• Work in a nursing home (long term care) setting
• Full-time weekend schedule with rotating day and PM shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Shifts include Sat., Sun., Wed., and Fri. ranging from 6a-830pm or 2p-1030pm with Mon./Tues./Thurs. off

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Two-year nursing degree required, four-year degree preferred
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Additional Information

• Assist with day-to-day nursing activities including medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments
• Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians and families in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and thorough resident charting
• Act as a leader on the floor, directing care and assisting CNAs as needed
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
