Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg - Oncology position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Med Surg 3 unit within a hospital setting
- 3x12hr day shifts, 0700-1930
- 8 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
- On-call is optional
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license, CO or Compact
- BLS (AHA) required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
- Certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
