Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Med Surg 1 unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Required to work 8 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
• On-call is optional
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need and competency
• Uses EPIC for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact, CO recognized) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required and must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS (AHA) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Prior RN experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
