Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Ortho unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Work in the Med/Ortho unit of a hospital setting
- 3x12hr Day shifts, 0700-1930
- 8 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
- On-call is optional
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
- BLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
- Promote facility mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards
- Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
