Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience in Level I or II trauma settings for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the MRI department
• Evening shift, 3x12 hours, 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• Once per week call required on Saturdays
• Uses PACS and Siemens MRI equipment
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(MR) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if candidate has 2+ years experience in Level I or II trauma settings
• No more than one DUI permitted for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and special imaging studies
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs required
• Adherence to isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside 60-mile radius of the facility
• Previous PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limited days available depending on offer type
