Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a hospital position requiring prior Cath Lab/IR experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 labs and 5 patient bays
• Unit staffed with 2 FT RNs and 5 FT RCIS techs
• Uses GE/MacLab equipment
• Documentation charted in Meditech
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with after-hours on-call required
• On-call callback is typically minimal, with approximately 3 STEMIs per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous Cath Lab or IR experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide pre, intra, and post care for cardiac patients
• Required dress code is royal blue scrubs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
