Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2 years of experience and a current MN RN license.

Details

• Post-acute, long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting with 51 beds
• Patient population primarily dementia and geriatric diagnoses
• Staffing ratio of 2 nurses per day shift and 1 overnight nurse
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting system
• 12-hour shifts, mostly 6a-6p and 6p-6a, with some 8-hour shifts available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to long-term care patients with dementia and geriatric conditions
• Facility-specific orientation includes 2 hours with the LEAD team followed by 1-2 shifts on the floor with another staff member
• Candidates residing within 80 miles are considered local and may be subject to adjusted pay rates
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
