Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a day-shift assignment requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:5 across days, nights, and weekends
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM), Monday-Friday
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required in-hand at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required
• Specialty unit experience must include at least 1 year full-time equivalent experience within the past 2 years
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
• Two supervisor references required at time of application

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
• Candidates on a temporary or similar license must have this noted in bold on their application
• Screenshot confirming requested time off (RTO) is required at time of application
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred
