Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring prior travel experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30, Sunday through Saturday
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required
• Epic EMR used, required experience with documented work history

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Support patients with conditions requiring IV therapy, respiratory management, and cardiovascular interventions
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous facility employees must have been gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler
• No requested time off (RTO) allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract
