Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week contract requiring telemetry reading skills and at least 2 years of med/surg experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit setting within a hospital
• 13-week assignment with scheduled shifts from 07:00-19:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg nursing experience required
• Telemetry background with ability to read strips required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (under 1/4 inch)
• Current license and Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
