Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ED experience with prior travel contract history.

Details

• Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
• 13-week assignment with shifts scheduled 07:00-19:30
• Schedule includes every other weekend or based on department needs, with every other holiday rotating with regular staff
• Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Uses EPIC EMR
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA required)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ascension MOAB certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• At least 2 prior travel contracts required
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide safe, high-quality care to critical, psychiatric, and pediatric ED patients
• Collaborate closely with the care team, communicating clearly and escalating concerns as needed to ensure patient safety
• Subject to a facility radius rule that allows local candidates at a reduced rate
