Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience to provide imaging services to inpatients and outpatients under radiologist direction.
Details
- MRI Imaging department providing services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Monday-Friday schedule from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- Call requirement rotating Monday-Sunday every 4 weeks, including weekday evenings 7p-630a, Saturday 7a-7a, and Sunday 7a-630a
- Responsible for adjusting imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast media
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- MRI registry not required
- Preferred but not required: graduate of an accredited AMA program and registered with ARRT
- Preferred but not required: MR certification through ARRT
- State license required if applicable
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform imaging under the direction of a Radiologist following departmental protocols
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
