Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 10 rooms and 19 beds/chairs
• Patient ratio of 3 or 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• No 48-hour scheduling
• Uses MEDHOST EMR
• Royal blue scrub color required

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases required
• Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Travel experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if candidate worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
