Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a hospital in Farmington, CT.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit
• Adult patient population including respiratory/cardiac and orthopedic cases
• Floating required to ICU, ED, medical/surgical floors, telemetry, detox, and psychiatric units (NICU if applicable)
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 36 hours per week
• Call and holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RRT certification through NBRC or equivalent certifying body required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification highly desired
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an RRT required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• State license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Will function as part of the unit's rotation pool and may be required to work additional hours as needed
• May float or be reassigned within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility based on clinical competence
• No holiday RTO available
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate
