Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care unit position requiring 2 years of recent acute care experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit within a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
• Level 3 Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Adult and geriatric patient population with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Uses Medhost EHR system
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12s
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for admitted patients
• On-call requirements with a 30-minute response time when called

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide direct care for intermediate care patients requiring close monitoring and stepdown-level interventions
• Weekly orientation offered
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment; local rate applies otherwise
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation, mountain and lake scenery, and proximity to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
