Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and a Montana or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT state or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for
• Certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start; candidates should report for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
