Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring 1+ year of pediatric experience and the ability to work independently.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric physical therapy setting within an acute care hospital
- Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule, Monday-Friday
- Shift flexibility available between 0730 and 1800
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric PT experience required, sufficient to work independently
- BLS certification required
- CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with outpatient clinic or home health settings
- Skills in adaptive equipment, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, early intervention programs, milestone assessment, scoliosis, and torticollis
- Proficiency in AROM/AAROM/PROM and pain assessment
- Experience with documentation, discharge planning, evaluation, plan of care, and reassessments
- Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for pediatric patients
- Candidate will work independently with pediatric caseload
- Open to first-time travelers
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
- Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months and must not be submitting within 50 miles of a previously worked facility
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application for consideration
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- Free parking available
