Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 1 year of experience, EPIC charting, and a LA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the MS/Tele observation unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills in telemetry, IV therapy/phlebotomy, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Two recent manager references required
• Any license history issues must be disclosed along with a personal statement

Additional Information

• Teal scrubs required
• No RTO permitted for holidays
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at the local rate
• Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel positions
• Pre-start, non-billable facility education modules required, ranging from 5-8 hours for RNs
