Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound, requiring RDMS certification.

Details

• Outpatient imaging department within a 400-bed facility
• Specialties include Abdominal, OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester), Vascular, Small Parts, and Pediatrics
• Average of 11-14 exams per 12-hour shift
• Equipment includes Philips Epiq, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon Transducer Cleaning equipment
• Epic EMR used
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Monday-Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Backup call requirements

Requirements

• Active RDMS certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound required
• RVT and RDMS (AB or OB) certification preferred
• Proficient performing abdomen, soft tissue head/neck, pelvic with transvaginal and Doppler, testicular with Doppler, renal and liver Doppler studies
• Experience with upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex/Doppler studies
• Experience with carotid duplex, infant brain/hip/spine, and OB studies (complete, limited, follow-up, BPP, umbilical Doppler) required
• Experience with pylorus, appendix, and hemodialysis access scans required

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts specialties
• Adaptable, patient-centered approach with strong independent and critical thinking skills required
• Charcoal grey scrub top and bottom with grey scrub jacket, non-porous shoes, and solid-colored undershirts (black, white, or grey) required
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
