Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Oncology RN for a day-shift role requiring a KY or compact RN license and an ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Provider Card.

Details

• Outpatient oncology department providing cancer treatment and care services
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• BLS certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Provider Card required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred
• Last 4 of SSN and MM/DD of DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for oncology patients
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities along with patient and family education
• Collaborate with inter-professional care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members as appropriate
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
