Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night-shift hospital assignment requiring active CA RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
• High-risk Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• 5+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
• 1 year of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel pay
• Returning contingent workers may not exceed two years of work within a two-year period without a 90-day break
• Former permanent staff must be separated from employment for 6 months to be eligible for a travel assignment
