Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night shift assignment requiring OCN certification and at least 1 year of recent oncology experience.
Details
- Oncology unit (6 West) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required for all RNs working in Oncology
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology nursing
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients including chemotherapy administration
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
- One professional reference required for consideration
