Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT R/M certification for a day-shift assignment.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient mammography setting
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Performs 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
• Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• May float between sister facilities as needed

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification required
• BLS certification required
• WA DOH License required for Radiological Technologist (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 40 hours of initial mammography training including 8 hours of digital/DBT
• Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed in the previous year
• Minimum of 15 mammography-specific CME credits within the last 36 months
• Epic EMR experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Follows isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and universal precautions/core measures
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including location and dates
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be accepted at a lower bill rate
• First-time travelers may not be considered for this position
