Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring at least 1 year of experience and CA state licensure.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Average of 20 visits per day across 2 rooms
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for 4x10 block scheduling for the right candidate
- Must be willing to work Saturdays
- Epic EMR preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (M) certification preferred
- CA state license required; license required if applicable
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
- Experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms required
- Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy preferred
- Experience with Hologic 3D equipment required; Hologic Affirm BX experience preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and universal precautions/core measures required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers considered with relevant experience
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
- Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period
- 2 supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
