Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift hospital assignment requiring at least 2 years of RT experience and completion of a prior travel contract.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy unit within a hospital setting
- Adult patient population only
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Allows compact license
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Epic EMR preferred
Requirements
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of previous Respiratory Therapy experience
- Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract
- Active certifications required at time of consideration
- One supervisory performance evaluation/reference from within 2 years of employment/contract
- Proof of permanent residency or driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide care management for adult patients
- Radius requirements apply and vary by facility
- Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
- Agency must disclose if a candidate was previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months, and such candidates may not be eligible for consideration
