Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years experience and CNMT certification for a day-shift hospital assignment focused on cardiac imaging and general NM studies.

Details

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekends, holidays, or call required
• Uses GE equipment and Epic EMR
• Performs cardiac imaging and general nuclear medicine studies
• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated

Requirements

• Active CNMT and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required and must be documented on candidate profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam on site with only one attempt allowed
• Proficient in cardiac imaging and general NM studies including bone scans, lung scans, myocardial studies, thyroid studies, and renal flow studies
• Experience with drawing venous blood, starting/maintaining IVs, and handling radioactive materials
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
