Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health float position requiring MA licensure and prior home care and travel experience.

Details

• Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
• Covers North Region locations including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
• Patient population ranges in age from birth to over 100 years
• Shift schedule is 08:00-16:30
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned across the coverage area
• Uses Epic for charting
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active MA Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
• MA Conditional licenses not accepted
• AHA-only certifications accepted
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• Not open to first-time travelers
