Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room role requiring TN or compact RN licensure, BLS, and prior experience in Ortho and spine procedures.

Details

• Operating Room unit with 5 ORs and 1 Cysto room, typically running 4-5 ORs daily
• Each room staffed with one circulator, one scrub, and one first assist, plus a daily boardrunner
• Total joint procedures require additional scrub or first assist support
• Procedures performed include general, bariatric, vascular, urology, gynecology, neuro, orthopedic, spine, ENT, podiatry, and robotic surgeries, with a primary focus on Ortho and spine
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Full-time schedule with 1-2 late shifts per week
• Rotating weekend call required
• Floating is uncommon but may occur within surgical services during low volume periods

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty
• Experience with Ortho and spine procedures preferred
• CST candidates must hold scrub technician certification and BLS
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided at the facility
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• One professional reference required for most states, with two references required for Florida and Missouri candidates
