Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring IL licensure, Epic experience, and prior travel contract experience.

Details

• Operating Room setting performing scrub and circulate duties
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract length
• No weekend requirement
• No holiday requirement
• No floating requirement
• On-call requirement of 32-36 hours
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active or Temporary IL RN license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart or American Red Cross accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required, 4+ years preferred
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Ortho and Neuro experience required
• Plastics, general, ENT experience preferred but not required
• New graduates not accepted
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant specialty area within the last year
• Travel reference preferred

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and circulate duties in the Operating Room
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being submitted as a travel candidate
• RTO for 13-week contracts limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Credentialing documents due by Thursday prior to start date
