Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 4 years of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital setting
• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Shift schedule is 07:00-17:00
• On-call required, approximately 8-10 call shifts per month
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
• ACLS certification required upon start and must be maintained
• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in Critical Care required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Addresses psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment
• Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
• Assists with equipment and inventory maintenance, and assesses procedure room readiness
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures Cardiovascular Lab team needs are met
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Continuously monitors and records patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
