Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring GA or compact RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certification.
Details
- Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (East Medical ICU)
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 1845-0715, with varying shifts
- 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU specialty experience required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Medical ICU or Covid ICU experience preferred
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance
