Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and prior inpatient rehab background.
Details
- 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Adult and older adult patient population
- Caseload of approximately 6.5 treatments in an 8-hour day
- Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend flexing (around 7-3:30 or 8-4:30)
- One weekend shift per month with a corresponding comp day off during the week
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
- CVA/neuro treatment experience required
- AHA certifications required
Additional Information
- Treat patients recovering from severe injury or illness in an acute inpatient rehab setting
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- Scrub color is flexible
- Report time is 8:00am on first day
