Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with 1.5+ years of experience and ventilator management skills for a night shift position caring for infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients.

Details

13-week assignment at 36 hours per week
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
Every other weekend required (Saturday/Sunday)
Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
Charting system is Meditech
Winter holiday coverage required (work or on-call for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Requirements

Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
CRT or RRT certification required
NBRC and BLS certification required
NJ license required (if applicable)
Experience with ventilator management required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted
Scrubs of any color are accepted
Locals accepted at the same rate
Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
