Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Surgical position requiring step-down experience and a Maine or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical Surgical unit with an average daily census of 21
- Patient ratios typically 1:5, potentially 1:6 during high swing bed volume
- Facility sees swing bed patients approximately 25% of the time
- Occasionally cares for patients more acute than typical Med/Surg due to lack of onsite ICU
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
- Step-down level patient care experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to a Med/Surg population with occasional step-down acuity level patients
- Care for swing bed patients as part of regular caseload
