Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care Medical/Surgical unit with 24 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 6:45p to 7:15a
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA only
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to adult acute care Med/Surg patients
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Hospital offers 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiopulmonary, women's care, and behavioral health services
